STUDENT ASSISTANT
Student Assistant
Our volunteer leadership program is open to Starlight students 4th grade and older. This program offers a fun and enriching way for students to improve their dance technique, learn responsibility, and develop leadership skills by serving as a Teacher’s Assistant in a weekly dance class.
As a Student Assistant, students will:

Assist instructors in class setup and cleanup
-
Demonstrate dance steps and techniques
-
Foster a positive and supportive class environment
-
Commit to attending class every week

Model appropriate dancewear and behavior at every class
This is an excellent opportunity for students to grow as dancers, leaders, and mentors while contributing to the Starlight community and earning volunteer service hours.
