Dancers ages 11 and older are evaluated annually and placed into technique classes based on skill level.  Progression to a higher level is based on technical ability and skill mastery, not age.  Classes will contain a mix of ages.  Students usually remain at the same level for an average of two-three years before advancing.  Students are not progressed to a higher class level without technical merit and teacher recommendation.
