Our Shining Stars programs offer advanced dancers a higher level of training as well as competitive performing opportunities.  Programs are open to dancers ages 9-18.

 

Senior Shining Stars

• Students ages 13-18 must execute the required skills and technique.

• Students must register for all Starlight Dance Academy Summer Intensives and attend more than 50% of these classes.

• Students must enroll in a minimum of 4 group classes including Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary for the 2023-2024 season. Outstanding attendance is expected.

• Students must participate in a minimum of 4 group dances including Ballet, Jazz, and Contemporary.

• Attendance at weekly Shining Stars rehearsals. Outstanding attendance is expected.

• Attendance at Saturday Shining Stars rehearsals. This is a two-hour rehearsal held 10 times during the season. Schedule is released in September and based upon events and member needs.

Junior Shining Stars

• Students ages 9-13 must execute the required skills and technique.

• Students must register for 3 or more Starlight Dance Academy Summer Intensives, and attend more than 50% of these classes.

• Students must enroll in a minimum of Ballet, Jazz and Lyrical/Contemporary for the 2023-2024 season. Outstanding attendance is expected.

• Students must participate in a minimum of 3 group dances including Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary.

• Attendance at weekly Shining Stars rehearsals. Outstanding attendance is expected.

• Attendance at Saturday Shining Stars rehearsals. This is a two-hour rehearsal held 8 times during the season. Schedule is released in September and based upon events and member needs.
